January 2018: The Department held monthly training and meeting sessions. They responded to two calls; one pick-up/semi accident and a chimney fire.
February 2018: The Department held monthly training and meeting sessions. They responded to a call to assist with Calumet Township Fire and Rescue for a high angle rescue.
March 2018: Chief Klein reported an ongoing problem with snowmobiles parking/driving through the fire department parking lot. There is signage informing people that unauthorized parking is not allowed. A sign and sign post were stolen on March 10th. A police report was filed. Damage has also been done to the lot.
April 2018: The Department held its regular monthly meeting and training sessions. Members attended a tabletop exercise at the airport. There were no calls in April
May 2018: The Department held its regular monthly meeting and training sessions. There was one call during the month of May.
