PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OSCEOLA TOWNSHIP OFFICE HAS HAD SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ABOUT PEOPLE BURNING IN DOLLAR BAY. THERE IS NO BURNING ALLOWED IN DOLLAR BAY OR TAMARACK CITY PER THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCE:
Osceola Township has a No Burn ordinance # 23-B which was adopted in the interest of public health and safety. This ordinance applies to the communities of Dollar Bay and Tamarack City. Paragraph two states, " No person shall burn garbage, refuse, trash, yard waste, rubbish or similar material giving off foul odors in the outdoors, whether or not such materials are in a burn barrel, fire pit or other burning container."
